Dear Alumnus,
On behalf of the Executive Committee of the IBA Alumni Association we are pleased to inform you that the Alumni Day 2008 is scheduled to be held on Friday, April 18, 2008 at 4:00 p.m. in the Radisson Water Garden Hotel Dhaka. Alumni Day program comprised of inauguration, distribution of IBA Alumni awards, refreshment, AGM and selection of Executive Committee for the next term followed by diner and cultural program.
Dr. A. B. Mirza Md. Azizul Islam, Honorable Finance and Planning Advisor has kindly consented to grace the occasion as the Chief Guest. Dr. Hossain Zillur Rahman, Honorable Commerce and Education Advisor and and Dr. Muhammad Z Mamun, Professor and Director, IBA, University of Dhaka will be present on the occasion as Special Guest. Distinguished personalities from different sectors and areas will also be present in the occasion.
Attached please find the program schedule of the Alumni Day 2008.
For registration, please contact your Batch Coordinator (as per the attached list) or the office of the association at IBA, Room # 405, Telephone: 8611819 between 10:00 am to 6:00 pm on all working days on or before April 15, 2008.

Notice for the election
of the Executive Committee 2008-2009
Notice is hereby given that the election of the Executive Committee for the year 2008-2009 of the IBA Alumni Association will be held at 6:00 p.m. on April 18, 2008 at the Radisson Water Garden Hotel Dhaka as per following schedule.
1. Last date of filing of the nomination paper : April 13, 2008
2. Date of scrutiny of the nomination paper : April 14, 2008
3. Last date of withdrawal of the nomination paper : April 16, 2008
4. Election Time : 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Members interested to participate in the election are requested to collect nomination paper from the office of the Association from April 03, 2008 between 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on all working days.
All the alumni having annual subscription paid up to the year 2007 are eligible for contesting in the election and casting their votes.

The IBA Alumni Association (IBAAA) is a national forum of the professional MBAs, BBAs in Bangladesh. The Association has at the moment as members over 3,000 MBAs, BBAs and EDP participants working mostly in key-positions in public and private enterprises such as government, semi-government and autonomous organizations, banks and financial institutions, international or multinational organizations, or in their own enterprises. The IBAAA is a purely non-political professional association devoted to build up a sound professional management cadre in the country.
